Due Diligence

Testing whether the business you are buying is the business you were shown.

Our role and its limits

Crystal Zest coordinates the diligence process and conducts the commercial and financial analysis within its competence. Specialist legal, tax, regulatory, environmental and technical diligence is undertaken by appropriately qualified advisers, whose work we help scope and integrate.

That distinction matters. An acquirer should know exactly which questions have been tested, by whom, and which have not been tested at all.

The red-flag report

The deliverable most acquirers use first is short: the issues that could change the price, the structure or the decision, each with what we know, what we could not establish, and what we would recommend doing about it.

Start a confidential conversation

Whether you are preparing to sell, looking to acquire, raising capital or trying to lift the value of a business you already own, the first step is a short, confidential discussion about the situation.
